DO WE OFFER AN AI CONCIERGE?
In Short: Yes. When you use our AI concierge chat, your messages are sent to our AI provider to generate replies, and we keep a short-term log of the conversation.
Our website offers an AI concierge that helps you find hotels from our collection. When you type a message into the concierge, that message is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, which processes it on our behalf to generate a reply. By default, Anthropic does not use these inputs to train its models and retains them only briefly for safety and abuse monitoring. This processing may take place outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards.
We also keep a log of concierge conversations together with technical information such as your IP address, the page you were on, and timestamps, so we can operate and improve the service and prevent misuse. We keep these logs for no more than 90 days and then delete them. Where an IP address has been associated with abuse of the service, we may retain it for longer as part of our security measures. Also, we may keep anonymised information derived from concierge conversations, with personal data removed, to improve the service. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing and securing the concierge.
