Parilio
Parilio is a whitewashed sanctuary where studied Cycladic simplicity meets contemporary design, its 33 suites arranged around a cross-shaped pool facing an ancient acropolis.

Parilio occupies a seven-acre site on Paros's northeastern coast, designed by Interior Design Laboratorium to channel the stripped beauty of Cycladic architecture. The 33 suites draw their colour palette from the Koukounaries cliff - whites, beiges and ochres that exist in harmony with the surrounding amber fields and pine-fringed coves.
A series of fortress-like arches leads to the reception, while Kolympithres Beach and its wind-sculpted granite formations lie a 20-minute walk away. Each suite opens to terraces furnished by Vincent Van Duysen, with custom rugs by Moroccan studio LRNCE serving as headboard art. Coloured concrete, terracotta floors, local marble and bespoke furniture by the design team create spaces where contemporary Greek aesthetics meet traditional Cycladic craft. Ceramists from Morocco, Crete and Copenhagen contributed pottery as tributes to the ancient acropolis visible from the property.
The cross-shaped pool centres the property, natural rock emerging from crystal waters. Twice-Michelin-starred chef Thanos Feskos leads the culinary programme at Paron restaurant with a zero-waste philosophy and seasonal Parian ingredients. Mr E serves energised breakfasts while the Asian spa offers treatments using Ila products.
Bright yellow tents punctuate the exterior - the hotel's signature design element. Naoussa's fishing harbour lies a ten-minute drive away, its Venetian lanes offering evening diversions. Parilio delivers the slow pace of Cycladic life for design-conscious travellers seeking substance beneath the whitewash.
