De Durgerdam
De Durgerdam is a restored 17th-century sailor's inn on Lake IJmeer, with a restaurant developed alongside two Michelin-starred chefs.

De Durgerdam occupies a 1664 inn on the shores of Lake IJmeer, once popular with sailors of the Dutch Golden Age. Buro Belén's restoration layers muted ochre, olive and terracotta across 14 rooms, with hand-painted joinery, Tichelaar ceramic tiles and tactile velvets.
Rooms and suites offer Hypnos beds, Zenology toiletries and views over the lake or meadows. The three suites occupy the historic building's heart - one features a traditional 'bedstee' sleeping alcove and wood-burning stove.
Restaurant De Mark serves seasonal produce developed with Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot of Michelin-starred 212 and De Juwelier. Fresh seafood from the doorstep waters.
Swim from the pontoon in summer, cycle through surrounding marshlands. Amsterdam's centre sits fifteen minutes away yet feels a world apart. All-electric, heritage-listed.
