Hotel Mercier
Hotel Mercier is an Art Deco boutique hotel in the Jordaan, where handmade tapestries by Claes Iversen dress 48 rooms within a former community centre.

Hotel Mercier occupies the former 'Ons Huis' community centre on Rozenstraat, founded in 1891 by social pioneer Hélène Mercier. The monumental building has been reimagined in Modern Regency style while preserving authentic elements. Part of the Vondel Hotels collection.
The 48 rooms feature handmade tapestries by fashion designer Claes Iversen, burgundy metro tiles and mosaic bathroom floors. Vintage furniture sits alongside velvet-clad pieces and Art Deco details.
The restaurant serves modern Dutch dishes beneath warm lighting. The bar offers carefully selected wines and cocktails. The terrace catches afternoon sun.
Steps from the Anne Frank House, surrounded by the atmospheric cafés and boutiques of the Jordaan. The building's history as a gathering place lives on in its welcoming atmosphere.
