Anandes Hotel sits above the old port, designed by Studio Bonarchi as a celebration of vintage Mykonos and 1970s bohemia. 42 rooms and suites occupy a cluster of whitewashed buildings arranged around courtyards filled with olive trees and bougainvillea, the Cycladic forms offset by warm timber, rattan and terracotta accents.
Rooms and suites offer travertine stone sinks, brass taps and handwoven textiles - a tactile palette inspired by island craft. Many feature private terraces with views across the bay to Delos.
La Petite Maison brings its celebrated French Riviera cuisine to the rooftop, with unobstructed sunset views. The ground-floor restaurant and bar serve Mediterranean small plates late into the evening.
A short walk leads to the cobbled lanes of Chora, yet the elevated position ensures tranquillity. Anandes captures a slower, more soulful Mykonos - design-conscious hospitality with substance.
