Istoria sits where Perivolos Beach's black volcanic sand meets the midnight blue Aegean, a 12-suite retreat designed by Interior Design Laboratorium to resemble a traditional Santorinian mansion. The name means 'story' in Greek - each suite carries a name translating to 'story' in a different language.
Impressively domed suites arc toward verdant terraces, most crowned with private pools or outdoor hot tubs. Interiors balance minimal opulence with rich earth tones: terracotta, natural wood and subtle black accents. Building elements from the original estate are incorporated throughout.
Mr. E Restaurant serves modern Greek cuisine with fresh, seasonal ingredients under the guidance of Executive Chef Rafail Tsakiris. Elios Spa offers organic treatments; the large green-tiled pool and sunken bar provide a convivial retreat.
